Vanessa is a driven professional with a strong background in law, business, and hospitality. She graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting. Since entering the legal industry in 2020, Vanessa has gained valuable experience and recently joined McCarthy Durie Lawyers with a focus on Property and Commercial Law. She was admitted as a solicitor in August 2024.

As a member of MDL’s Property, Commercial, and Mortgages and Securities team, Vanessa works alongside Andrew, Alex, and Nathan, assisting on a wide range of legal matters. These include residential and commercial property transactions, business sales, and the drafting of corporate and commercial agreements.

Vanessa’s diverse experience, which includes years in hospitality management and exposure to Personal Injury Law, provides her with a unique strategic perspective in problem-solving and client service. Her combination of legal expertise, financial insight, and innovative thinking enables her to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
